Breast Lift

Breast lift, or mastopexy, raises and reshapes a sagging breast. This may occur as a woman ages or after pregnancy and breast-feeding because the breast tissue atrophies and the skin loses its elasticity. This results in a loss of shape and firmness. Mastopexy may also reduce the size of the areola (colored area).

Mastopexy may be performed in conjunction with breast implants to improve the overall appearance and fullness of the breast. Dr. Grover utilizes a short-scar/vertical technique for many of his breast lift patients. This technique avoids any scars underneath the breast.

The procedure is usually performed using general anesthesia in an outpatient setting.
