Tummy Tuck or Abdominoplasty

Abdominoplasty, or "Tummy Tuck", can markedly improve the appearance of a large or protruding abdomen (pouch) as well as significantly narrowing the waistline. This is achieved by removing excess skin and fat from the middle and lower abdomen as well as by tightening the loose underlying abdominal muscles.

This procedure is ideal for patients who have been pregnant and have stretched and weakened their abdominal muscles and skin and suffer from "stretch marks" in the lower abdomen.

Some patients may only require a "mini-abdominoplasty" with or without liposuction.

The procedure is performed using general anesthesia either in an inpatient or outpatient setting.
